I’ve been going to see the Saigon Heat basketball team play and I’m a big fan! I’ve seen three games so far:
Saigon Heat – San Miguel Beermen
Saigon Heat – Singapore Slingers
Saigon Heat – Thailand Slammers
We won the first game it was very exciting. We lost the other two games by around 20 points! Still, I enjoy going to see the games with my dad and cheering the team. Saigon Heat, Saigon Heat! Defense Saigon Heat!
What I like most is that the players are all very friendly and on the first game, Morrison gave me a water bottle after the game, I was thrilled. On the third game, I came back home with these great pictures with the team. Thank you guys!
My dad is happy to cheer for the Saigon team, whatever the results as he says it makes him happy to go with me to the games 🙂
I’m still hoping we can get some t-shirts when they throw them at the crowd but we haven’t been lucky so far.
We usually go to the matches with my dad’s friends and this is great fun. After the game we usually have something to eat or drink in the gardens outside the stadium. Here is friend of my dad enjoying a very Vietnamese dish (very spicy fish), I’m the one reaching out for the bottle of “veneno” as he says (that’s Spanish for poison, funny guy!).
You can go to the official website of Saigon Heat to get info on the schedule and tickets. The indoor stadium where the matches take place was a bit difficult for us to find at first since we have to cross the whole city on our motorbike.
You can also use google maps to find it:
